More New York Mets Citi Field Fanwalk Bricks On Sale

Just got this:

Dear Mets Plan Holder:

Many thanks for your ongoing support of the Mets during our Inaugural Season at Citi Field.

Among Citi Field’s most talked about attractions are the more than 18,000 Citi Field Fanwalk bricks outside of the entry to the Jackie Robinson Rotunda. Based on overwhelming response and interest, we are expanding the Citi Field Fanwalk program for the 2010 season with a new offering of Fanwalk bricks to be placed in 12 sections, with six sections along each of the first and third base sides of the Rotunda. Each section will commemorate an Amazin’ moment in Mets history.

We are pleased to offer our current Plan Holders the first opportunity to be part of the Citi Field Fanwalk: Amazin’ Moments through this special advance offer. These individually engraved bricks featuring your personalized messages – recognizing family, friends and favorite Mets players and moments – also will include the Mets script logo to become a permanent part of the Mets new home.

Bricks will be available in three styles:
8″ x 8″ brick engraved with the Mets script logo – includes four lines of text for $395.

TICKET PLAN HOLDERS may purchase the 8″ x 8″ logo brick for $340 (a 16% savings).
8″ x 8″ brick – includes six lines of text for $340.
4″ x 8″ brick – includes three lines of text for $195.

Each purchase of a Citi Field Fanwalk: Amazin’ Moments brick also includes a complimentary replica brick (with the same message), which makes a great gift. Additional replica bricks can be purchased for all styles; each additional replica will cost $125, $100 or $75 depending on style. Display cases are also available to help showcase your replica in your home or office.

Thank you again for your Ticket Plan purchase.

  1. The Mets are an out of control organization. There is no one there who is strong enough to say, "hey, our season's ticket holders and fans are unhappy with us, and maybe we should curtail more milking of the cow…"

My Mets have become a joke off the field. From the noise, to the commercials before the game, to the action packed between inning sponsor fulfillment, to the 10,000 billboards in the outfield…

    A joke.

They are a sordid and sullied bunch, that has lost sight of tact and class and dignity.

  2. Would they allow:
    "Thank God 2009 is Over"
    "Bring Back Shea"
    "Rubin 4 GM"
    "Welcome to Ebbets Field"
    "No More Dodgers Stuff"

  3. Citifield is a big bowl of wrong, however, the one thing they did right is the brinks. Not a plan holder, and if they become available to us little people, I'll buy one with my kids names engraved.
