Thanks to JMP for the (fake) picture on the left…I don’t know where it’s from but it made me laugh and I wanted to share. If you can’t read it it says “2007 Epic Friggin Collapse”, “2008 Deja Friggin Vu” and “2009 Don’t Even Ask.” When I buy the Mets I just may hang these for real.
Anyway….Mets fans are telling me Kevin Burkhardt talked about some new Tim Teufel and Al Jackson banners….I wasn’t aware of these and since I can’t be bothered to use my tickets….anyway Greg prince from Faith & Fear was kind enough to respond on Facebook.
“These are in the plaza in front of the subway entrance. About a dozen different players honored (different from those on the side of the building). First noticed them over the weekend. Ojeda, Fernandez, Alfonzo, Ventura, Berra, Koosman, Jackson, Charles, Teufel, Kingman, Swan among others. All black & white.”
