Quick Note To Readers

Hey everyone – thanks for all the comments this week.  I’ve been taking a few days off, and as previously mentioned much of the non-timely stuff was pre-planned.  I just wanted to thank everyone who has left comments, and I’ll catch up on those next week.   Thanks to Dan for minding the store, and I hope nobody (especially the regulars0 feel ignored…back to normal Sunday.   The tiki bar is calling..no Mets for me tonight.

Oh, if anyone took pictures of the non-Mets tickertape parade today and you’d care to share please send them to [email protected]

Speaking of parades, can anyone explain to me why NYC had one for Sammy Sosa, a Cub, after he hit the second most home runs of all-time?  I look it up every now and then to make sure I didn’t imagine it.
