Thanks to Peter for the tip….the Citi Field stairwells are being painted orange. You can see some examples here. Peter adds that some of the fans over at baseball-fever.com are upset at this…I haven’t looked into that yet but at first glance I don’t know why. Maybe they wanted them to be blue? Orange is one of the team colors.

how about going the Shea route and painting each level a different color – orange, blue, green, and red. i like that they're adding some life to the place.
