On my 7th birthday I went to Shea for the 1st time vs MTL in Aug of ’87

Choking away a 7 game lead with 17 to play. I still don’t think I’ve recovered from that one.

5. First thing I would change if I owned the team?
The attitude of the team. The fact that Jerry Manuel said his team didn’t feel like they should be more up for the series vs the Marlins this past september really bothers me. Last time I checked, the marlins are responsible for eliminating us on the last day of the season…….2 years in a row!!! They should want to do whatever they can to make sure florida doesn’t make the postseason. Obviously florida didn’t make it, but I would have my team pumped up as possible to get some sort of revenge.
