  1. So basically, nothing happened last year in the eyes of Mets officials. Wonder how long it takes em to realize their phones aren't ringing. It seriously must be nice to be rich enough to run something into the ground with no regard for common sense!

  2. Fellow fans:

If you are canceling your plan(s), please don't just rip up the invoice. Invest the 43 cents and let the Mets know why.

I'm sending back my two invoices, my obstructed-view ticket from Section 504, and a note that I will not enter any plan unless the seats are unobstructed, behind home plate, include only 13 Friday or Saturday games, and request a full refund for my obstructed seat, a refund for my ticket—including fees, and a 40% reduction off the current seat prices. (My ticket partner has already rejected renewing his half of any deal; he'll root for the Mets, but will shift his hopes to the BoSox).

    Thanks…

    kjs

    If not, Adios Los(t) Mets…

  3. You guys seem to always think that you're entitled to pay less, when that's not true at all. The Mets are a business, just like every other baseball team. Their primary goal is to make money. It's how every business works.

  4. Scott and the previous poster have the right idea though. The Mets need to understand that the dreaded troika – bad team, bad prices and bad economy – mean that they will have to price reasonably. The corporate fan(s) have been and will be laid off and/or unable to expense their tickets going forward. The real fans want back in but not at those prices. Maybe instead of signing an aging 35 year old to a multi-million dollar contract, run your business sensibly and really work on your farm system. d.u.h.

  5. Nothing major here. $20-$25 a ticket for Prom reserve infield seems decent.

I do prefer the 13 Saturdays as part of a saturday pack, but we knew this going in.

  6. Mike, how do you make money by losing ticket holders? Not only doe it hurt them in the gates, but it also hurts them in the parking and concessions. The Mets may be a business, but they certainly aren't well run. I guarantee you they will make less money than this year because they don't know how to run a business.
