Basically if you’re on any mailing list….
Dear Flushing Flash Subscriber:
As a Flushing Flash subscriber, we are pleased to offer you an exclusive “Pre-Sale” opportunity to purchase single game tickets to 2010 Mets regular season home games (excluding only the Subway Series) in advance of our general public sales opening on Sunday, March 7.
Visit Mets.com starting Wednesday, March 3 at 10 a.m. through Friday, March 5 at 11:59 p.m., click on the Pre-Sale link and use the special password for access.
A limited number of tickets for Opening Day, April 5 will be available in the Pre-Sale. You may purchase a maximum of four tickets for Opening Day, subject to availability.
This Pre-Sale is for individual ticket purchases. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover will be accepted. Group Sales of 25 or more tickets to a game will be available starting March 7.
I don’t actually know anything but if they are suddenly announcing a Flushing Flash pre-sale, I think they’re looking to move tickets.
The password is hilarious. As part of my self-imposed fairness doctrine I won’t post pre-sale passwords here, but I’ll mention what it was later in the week. This one is not a player name. Then again, anyone who visits a Mets website is 99% likely on the Flushing Flash mailing list.
the mets pr department is a joke. I particularly love “your exclusive…” so they can make me feel like I am the only person recieving this email.
This is almost exactly how it was last year if I recall. club mets, then flash..
and yeah, it’s a funny password. Especially if you twist it to mean “Please please buy tickets again!”
I failed at guessing any of the other presales though.
that hillarious…
“please please but tickets again!”
