Citi Field is falling apart, starting with the first letter of its name. On January 25th, sources say the 15-foot-long, 35-pound “C” on the stadium‘s marquee came crashing down.
What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.

Funny how the Post is always oh so quick to report these things about the Mets but still have yet to report that the Yankee Stadium concrete ramps were cracking and that the company the Yankees hired to inspect the concrete didn’t properly inspect them.
Also, there is some sort of repair work going on at Yankee Stadium this off season as there is a large air truck parked outside behind wooden scaffolding.
busting on the Mets is fun. Always has been. They are the little brother. Remember, if the Mets run off 24 straight World Series they’ll still be the little brother. That’s why I say embrace it and bring back the mule!
Well, there have been some rough storms.
But this sounds more like a NYC contractor story than a Mets one.
Actually, I like iti Field better than Citi Field. Leave the C off.
According to the Mets training staff the “C” is day to day and should return soon.
