These are from the McFadden’s in Philadelphia. Â Philadelphia. Â Not from anywhere near a rotunda. Â Clear?
This is not meant to be a trick you post. Â I went to the game in Philly today and when I walked in I thought “oh yeah, McFadden’s, I should take some pictures.”
Does the McFadden’s at a certain ballpark look this way? Â I don’t know.
If you’re a new reader you may be surprised to learn I have a 15 game Phillies plan. Â This was the first time in 2 seasons that I have used it. Â Last year I went 15 for 15 on stubhub making nice small profits to offset my Mets tickets and never sat in my own seats not even once. Â Then, I made a killing on the playoffs. Â Those World Series tickets paid for everything Mets in 2009 and then some. Â As Omar says, “You know what I’m sayin’?”
Today the weather outweighed the three bucks in Stubhub I could have made, so I decided to hit the road with Junior. Â I took 200 pictures and will be rolling them out as the weeks go along – yep, there’s no better way to chase away an audience then by combining my awful photography with Phillies stuff.
The Philly McFadden’s is nice and roomy, seemed easy to get a bartender’s attention, and had a nice outdoor patio area that was popular on this fine sunny day. Â There’s nothing remarkably awesome about it, but if you’re looking to hang out with some Phillies fans, this seems a good spot. Â Whereas the McFadden’s websites make the places out to be bimbos and booze, I felt this one had more of a vibe of Cheers meets sports bar.
