I am no meteorologist but the awesome Weather Channel App for the ipad says (click for bigger image):
Here’s what I can tell you from experience:
– the gates will open. Â It’s a giveaway day, it’s a Saturday, NOBODY will want to play a doubleheader tomorrow into the All-Star break.
– the Mets want the gate.
– if you kill time during a rain delay you buy hot dogs and shop to kill time which gives the Mets more money.
– the game is on Fox.
– it is presently pouring at Mets Police HQ and has been for an hour.
– Beloved Daughter is attending the game and she’s a rain delay jinx
– I am going to head out at 2pm and make the long drive
– I expect to see a game
– I expect to spend an hour in a monsoon thunderstorm because that’s what always happens when Beloved Daughter comes.
– Beloved Daughter has her black jersey on. Â (Love outweighs Unichoice). Â I will go with 1983 Blue.
– I am a fat guy who can’t even go on his deck because of the rain so don’t get mad at me if this advice stinks. Â You’re on your own.
