What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.

one more “i don’t care if they wear pokadots as long as they win” or “who cares?” comment in that forum and i’m going to scream.
Hey Shannon, just thought of something….The Black sells because the Mets don’t really give the fans a lot of options but the black. Go into any Modells and all you will see are Black tees …rarely will they have any Blue or White tees with the Mets script logo. If a common man’s store like Modells would sell more options, Mets fans would actually buy colors other than the black. Trust me. Its hard to find anything but the black on the streets.
Primo I have followed up on this with the post that leads off the morning on Wednesday
Just as bad as the black at this point, to me, is the “Wilpon Script”

They just seem to wanna screw wtih the past. I want 3 things…no black, the NY back on the logo and no Wilpon Script.
My opinion on this matter is all of baseball should go back to basics. It is more profitable to sell many of a few choices. Look at the Yankees. Two uniforms period! The METS should wear Pinstripes only (with no names) at home, Road Grays with Block NEW YORK (not script) and as an alternate BLACK with Block NEW YORK. As far as marketing Batting Practice Jerseys Go with the Black METS with names or not.
