OK Paul Lukas, I plugged your Meats so I’m going to borrow your image from today’s awesome Uni Watch column, tell everyone I want this and then send them to Uni Watch to find out the dealio.

What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.

This is for the Giants fan in you, or do you want the red turned into orange for the Mets (also have to slightly change the NY logo)?
Certainly is an interesting piece. Of course, it has no linkage to the Mets historically…they never wore a sweater like that. The 1980’s warmup maybe the closet thing due to the collar and logo (see mine below)

If I were a Met fan looking to buy this, I guess I would want it in orange and blue. I would be hesitant to wear it outside – it’s a bit outdated for today’s style for me. I would keep the olde style logo for sure…it is what a Met logo would have looked like in that era.
Shannon,

Nice job…what made you make it? What else do you have in mind? Ever think of designing professionally? I may explore that.
Terence that is such an awesome hoodie. I wish they sold stuff like that
That’s exactly why I made it! I think I saw something similar (for the Dodgers of course) in the ’47 Shop at Citi and thought “Why pay $95 for this when I can make it for half as much?”

P.S. I was lucky on this project to have found the felt letters on eBay. I’ve just started cutting my own felt so have a couple newere projects on the “hot stove”. Pun intended
