Forgot to post this one yesterday.
Matthew Artus has a really enjoyable piece about the Mets holiday party from a blogger perspective.
It includes busting on Colactus’ wardrobe:
“It’s Christmas time. It’s a Christmas party,” Collins said defiantly about his wardrobe choice. “Let’s keep things in perspective.” He lightened up shortly thereafter in describing the shirt’s origin, explaining, “This was bought before last night, or before the announcement was made. I didn’t want to show up in black, so I thought this was much more festive.”
Would the media ask him that?
Nope. And that’s the point of all this. This was my Wednesday twitter read of the day…definitely read it.
Mind you, he was wearing red not black, blue or orange.
