Question: what are these folks doing?
That’s right, they lined up at 5:30 for Spring Training tickets.
My buddy Chris used something called “the Internet” but if these guys want tickets then go nuts.
The St. Lucie’s say that ticket sales at Formerly Tradition Formerly Thomas J. White stadium are strong.
I think we miss part of the experience thanks to the internet. It’s fun to get to talk to fellow fans while waiting on line.
Hitting “reload” while waiting for internet sales to go live isn’t very memorable.
I remember the days I used to wait outside Shea for regular tickets. What a frigid miserable experience that was.
But yeah, I purchased online at 10am sharp, got right in and out. Of course, I do wonder if they hold back tickets for in person? Unless the whole ‘lower’ level behind the plate is basically sold out to season ticket holders.
I was there yesterday at PSL. I met some friends. got my tickets earlier. They open up the stadium, and team store sidewalk sale, bring vendors, tryouts for national anthem singing.
Some teams let you out on field, run the bases and play catch!
Its a fun day out and your back at the ball park.
