Update on vintage Mets subway signs

Charles says…

The sign on today’s Mets Police never was used anywhere. The sign in this picture is a copy I bought, directly from the manufacturer, of a sign which currently hangs in Times Square station, with Citi Field substituted for Shea. So there.

Notice also the “11” sign. The #7 line is the only line which runs 11 car trains and this is a surplus marker from one of the stations.

That’s a cool sign Charles!  Mrs. Mets Police would never go for that.  I don’t even have my Star Wars posters up.

  1. I have subway signs with the players that were hung in the subway and signs from the 81 season that were hung at the bus stops.
