This. Was. GREAT! Not only don’t they have “Days” like that anymore, I don’t think they had Days like that anymore THEN.
Poor Freddie Roman. I saw him at a baseball function years later and he skipped the “boat left Poland” material and did much better.
And poor William B. Williams — one of the co-signers of the Friars proclamation, he would be dead three weeks later.
