Tip for Mets fans out there like me who already bought a 15 game ticket plan before the flex packs were offered – I had purchased two Saturday plus packages in the promenade reserved – after all fees, etc – the total price tag was $677. When the flex plans came out, I saw that had I waited just another 10 days, for $720 I could have gotten the 17+1 flex plan (which when you broke it out came to one extra marquee game and two extra value games for $43 bucks – a no-brainer even if it just meant getting an extra Yankee game and putting the tickets on stubhub). Just call the ticket office and they’ll switch your plan over for you. I gave them another $43, got my extra Yankee game, another two value throwaway games and juggled a couple of other days that were more convenient for me. They won’t advertise that they’ll let you do that if you already purchased a 15 game package – but they’ll do it if you ask.
