  1. I agree with 4 through 1, but I’d replace Hundley from catcher to left with Piazza at first (though it wasn’t all that long an experiment).

  2. @Kevin – yeah a number of people have been telling me that Piazza should have been on the list. I guess I forgot how horrible he was at 1b 🙂 Thanks for the feedback.

  3. in 1970 the mets tried to make amos otis learn to play 3rd base.
    he was traded and had a great carrer with kansas city.
    can you imagine jones, agee and a can’t miss rookie otis in the met out field ?

    they would have been called the “mobile alabama mafia!!
