More hook-up action from Ceetar at Optimistic Mets Fan. Here’s the updated list of Big Apple Brews for 2011.
Remember, one beer maybe two – not seventeen.

The Big Apple brews upstairs is the one with the digital board. It also obviously has an ‘imported’ screen.
I haven’t compared the lists, but I think the only real new one is Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat. It’s the one I had and it was very good.
I might be wrong, but is beer cheaper this year?
I think its’ up to 8 from $7.75. Definitely not cheaper.
I think ‘regular’ beer is 7. It was at at least one stand. I never bought a regular beer last year so I dunno.
Too bad there is an abundance of A-B stuff to the detriment of brewers such as Brooklyn Brewery. Still, Leffe Blonde would be great at a game!
I just published a post in regards to the Brooklyn Brewery situation.
but yeah, some of those “A-B” (they’re not really) beers are pretty good.
Looked at the website for A-B (http://www.anheuser-busch.com/BeerVerified.html). • Anheuser-Busch InBev own or import Budweiser, Bud Light, Budweiser Select, Bud Ice, Budweiser Brew Masters’ Private Reserve, Budweiser/Bud Light Chelada, Budweiser American Ale, Budweiser NA, Bud Light Lime, Bud Light Golden Wheat, Michelob, Shock Top, Busch, Natural Light, Land Shark Lager, Red Hook, Rolling Rock, Widmer Brothers Brewing, Grupo Modelo, Goose Island Brewery, Kona Brewing, Fordham Brewing, Old Dominion Brewing, Beck’s, Boddingdons, Leffe, Bass, Czeckwar, Hoegarrden, Kirin, and Stella Artois.
It’s a technicality. Some of it’s brewed by them, but that’s been the controversy over them buying Goose Island. Kona for instance makes all their own stuff, it’s just an agreement with said breweries based on distribution and such.
I remember a few taps serving Brooklyn Brewery last year – Shake Shack had a dark amber beer and on the Promenade level there was the BLUE SMOKE stand that served the Summer Ale.
Ceetar… just read your post on Brooklyn Brewery. Thanks for the post. Wow, I’m a bit bummed, I was a regular buyer.
Yeah. I was so disappointed when I saw they were gone.
