Jason Isringhausen has read the rumors that the Mets were looking to shop him, Tim Byrdak and K-Rod. He went right to Sandy Alderson and asked if he could not be traded.

That is a great thing to hear that a player wants to stay with the Mets because he likes it here, well at least in my opinion. I like the way he went right to management and talked it out like a professional and didn’t whine about it in the press.
