They changed the team name to city name on all the jerseys in that shoot…perhaps for licensing reasons?
But they could have done that for the Mets using the racing stripe uni of that day. They chose to use the best Mets uni ever and looks like they even used the right number font.

In freeze frame, they did not use the correct font…they used the Mets home block font…not bad anyway.
They also used the Shea distance marker of 410 for Lenny’s catch.
Hard to imagine a commercial today filled with baseball players and the tagline “we’ve got the juice!”
