  1. Of course, its against the Nats in sept!….who wants to see that?….unless u want to see a battle for the basement…..its better than.an empty seat for the mets..

    Sounds riveting

  2. Good job by the Mets giving us a bonus game. They didn’t have to do anything. I asked the security guy in my section if we could move down. He said, “Officially No”. I took that to mean, “Do what you’d like and we aren’t going to stop you”. I asked why they wouldn’t let us move down like they did once before and he said, “Because the season ticket holders in those real expensive seats complained to ownership and threatened to drop their subscription”. Apparently they pay a tidy sum to ensure that they do not sit next to the rif raf. By about the 4th inning my buddy and I took a stroll and sat in the Pepsi Porch for an inning or two then in the boxes just below Howie’s radio booth for the rest of the game. Apparently “Don’t ask, don’t tell” was put into full operation at an almost empty Citi. Kudos to the staff for rewarding the “Real fans” who stayed. BTW, I actually stayed to the last pitch and got home via public transportation at 3:30am on Staten Island. I’d do it again if I had to.

  3. The Mets thank you for your blind faith and donations to their ponzi scheme disaster. Without fans like you, they would lose millions of dollars to their own buffoonery.
