Mets 9-11 remembrance ceremony

Not sure what everyone has seen or not….

9-11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY: The Mets announced they will
honor New York City uniformed service men and women during a
September 11 remembrance ceremony at 7:30 p.m. before the Mets
host the Chicago Cubs at Citi Field…The ceremony will honor lives lost
and injured, and celebrate the heroes, survivors and rescue and
recovery workers on the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks
…Grammy Award-winning artist and New York native Marc Anthony will
perform the National Anthem…Anthony sang the National Anthem on
September 21, 2001 at Shea Stadium during New York City’s first
professional sporting event since the attacks…American Idol star and
Queens native Pia Toscano will perform God Bless America during the
seventh inning stretch…Toscano was a winner of the 2008 Mets
Anthem Search and is appearing the night after concluding the
American Idols Live! 2011 Tour…Members of the New York City Police
Department, New York City Fire Department, Port Authority Police
Department, Emergency Medical Service, Office of Emergency
Management, New York City Sanitation Department, New York City
Department of Correction, and New York State Court Officers will
participate in the pre-game ceremony…First responders and families
from Tuesday’s Children will unfurl a 300-foot by 100-foot American flag.
