Not in Kansas City. Not in Seattle. You know, Milwaukee and Seattle didn’t lose 343 firefighters. Unlike Denver or Atlanta, virtually everyone in this city and its suburbs knew somebody who perished that day.”

There is only one thing that can be done now…MLB should take the hit…absolve the Mets of blame…say they made a bad choice, given the fan reaction, and will rectify the situation…let the NY Mets wear the hats the last game of the year at home and even give them out to fans. Best way to save face for everyone.
