Good morning…so far I have lost my keys and Unnamed Donuts messed up my order, so we’re off to a bad start and I am behind on my Mets-ness…so let’s start a controversy: Someone call the Post and alert them about the Cat Invasion!
As you may have heard, there are reportedly packs of wild dogs outside Citi Field (I have never seen them) and now there are cats everywhere! Well maybe not everywhere and maybe not cats plural – yet we need a controversy to kill time until the Jets game.
Here is one of potentially millions of cats that could theoretically be inside Citi Field.
the large amount of pigeons and birds that live inside the rafters probably make for a lot of fun for said kitty.
When I say the cat, he definitely was stalking something.
when i was a teen, a friend was a mets bat boy and i would walk the cat walk (no pun) from the dougout to the hall way and i always saw plenty of cats under the stands at shea. i think a braves player took one home and called him shea.
the next time you see a black cat at the new shea,it may very well be related to the black cat that popped out from under the stands during the mets-cubs show down game in 1969 !!!!
Do the cats and wild dogs get counted in the attendance figures?…..No wonder the Mets claim to average 30K each game!
