It’s a very quiet morning in the Metsiverse with about 33 hours left of Jose Reyes (before he re-signs for a hometown discount and Sandy finds 20 more players with the remaining $55 million left in the budget after paying Santana, Wright, Bay and Dickey) and only two more games with horrible drop shadow (I think).

The Newark Yankees thing is fun. I’m surprised they blocked it, especially after the Mets floated the idea of putting a team in Nassau, but as I wrote last night I suspect this is deeper bad blood than just Newark.

I bought two jerseys myself yesterday, one a Wright and the other I will share in the off-season.

I have no idea how I will work these in.

I have a whole bunch of “stuff” I would like to some how share but I can’t figure out how to do it without hosing people. Maybe some Q & A like Cerrone does, and then I can answer with my opinions. In general, I like what I hear about 2012.
