Following their 16-inning Game 6 victory over the Astros the Mets boarded a chartered flight back to NY, a flight that has been well documented in the book “The Bad Guys Won.” According to the book, and numerous reports, the flight was a non-stop party and was about as raucous as the toga party in the movie Animal House.
For some reason Dick Young must have boarded a plane in Earth-2. According to Dick the players were rather clam while the wives were loud.
