Well you know all about the jerseys but here’s some other things you may want to consider for your holiday gift giving.
First we have the book of the year. If you are going to buy a book about the first 50 years of the franchise buy this one. Other 50th anniversary books are The Amazins: Celebrating 50 Years of New York Mets History and The Mets: A 50th Anniversary Celebration but the Illustrated History is far and away my choice.
Next, we have the greatest Mets book of them all, the wonderful Faith and Fear in Flushing. I’d love to figure out how I could make a book out of this nonsense from my blog. Maybe someday.
Next we have the MLB New York Mets Comfy Throw, Officially MLB Licensed Blanket with Sleeves by Northwest “Smoke Design”
Stocking stuffers? Well the kids like these sorts of things.
This would look great on my desk. Maybe my cousin will get me this for Christmas.
Have you noticed the color scheme of all these offerings?
For your tree…
You’ll never go wrong with the official cap of The Mets Police
There’s always a Man Up And Play Better t-shirt as an option.
And of course, who wouldn’t want a black-less Mets jersey this holiday season? Get a customizable one. You can use the Modell’s link here, the MLB Shop at the bottom of the page or maybe even head over to Citi Field for Blue Friday. I already have TWO 2012 jerseys and am waiting for road-customizables to become available so I can buy a third.
