Ah, back in the days when folks said All-STAR game, as opposed to the present ALL-star game.
I’m out doing Actual Athletics again this morning, so if stuff comes up let @mediagoon ([email protected]) know. See ya later on.
What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.

It’s a shame what has happened to this once great battle between NL and AL…expansion has watered down the talent…players switch leagues much more often…we have inter-league play…and multi-million dollar players don’t want to get hurt and don’t go all out. They also once had strong league presidents that wanted to win badly. In the late 70s, all us Met fans could hope for was an NL win in the All-Star game or a Mayor’s Trophy Game win to have something over the Yankee fans.
