Sorry for the confusion on this one. @Mets_Bro had this right all along. Then I couldn’t find anything about it, and some reliable folks said it wasn’t happening but now it looks like it is. Maybe Kierst went to the store at lunchtime and bought some jerseys. This is like the 7th revision to this post.

So while nothing is official until I hear it from the Mets several sources lead me to believe this type jersey will be worn tonight.
It’s definitely 80’s night at Petco and the Padres are definitely wearing their 1989 uniforms. A few sources I trust tell me the Mets are wearing the ’89s.
I’m a little nervous about this story as it’s 11 hours until game time and I haven’t actually seen anything official..and when the Padres did 70’s night the Angels didn’t partake…but @mets_bro gave me the heads up. (I’d suggest you follow him on twitter…I am finding him very reliable.)
So with all things Mets Police I leave it to you to decide if you find the site reliable or not. Do we have the ASG logo story right? Do we have the uniform story right? Or are we just kooks? Up to you.
And if it turns out this one is wrong, well then I will make fun of myself tomorrow. It’s just a blog.
