Good for David – he’s another in a line of Mets good guys. But I have to say, it doesn’t have anything to do with his own desire to stay with this franchise. The Mets want to keep him – does he want to stay here and continue losing? That’s the question – not whether he’s valuable to the Mets. He is.
Sign him. He is the Ambassador of the Mets and should be honored as such.
