  1. I was there with my wife and kids as well. My youngest and I even made it on the big screen during the 7th inning stretch.

    I have my kids well trained. As soon as the top of the 9th ended, my kids all turned their hats in various configurations for rally caps. I was somewhat surprised that no one else in our section did so, and plenty of people pointed and snickered. Have these people no sense of history?

    Fortunately, my kids are now convinced that when the whole family dons their rally caps, they will work their magic and help the Mets score a couple of runs.
