I hang out on twitter during almost every inning of every Mets game @metspolice.

This season I have gotten the giggles doing the memes.  Here’s a handy guide to what they mean.

 

 

JIM HALPERT FACE

Jim Halpert face usually appears in the late innings when the bullpen blows the game.  And I do mean usually appears.  There are different Jim faces but this is my favorite one.  Sometimes this will appear early if someone does something boneheaded, but I think this is best used after Lyon serves up a home run.

 

I’M THE MAN RIGHT NOW

No.  No you aren’t.  This wonderful picture is used to mock all things JV1.

Yes, yes you are.  Men want to be you, women want to kiss you.  This picture screams that you know it.  God Bless You Matt.

This one is used when I sense something is about to happen.

Also used when there is impending doom.

IKE AND MISS AMERICA

When things are going right, Ike is known for the longball, his big bat and stylin’ with Miss America.

I usually use this after Satin gets a big hit.

DWIGHT SCHRUTE FACE

This one is used when the Mets surprisingly don’t blow it.  Bases loaded, none out, and they wiggle out of it.  Dwight is no Jim, Dwight knew the Mets would get out of it.  Confidence.

IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO IS DUE UP

The Rock says it doesn’t matter who is up next because Matt Harvey is on the mound.

GRAN TORINO

When you damn kids start talking about this WAR nonsense or OBP+ and other crap.  Get off my lawn.

MARGE FACE

When Mrs. Mets Police isn’t happy with me.  Usually because she got to the mail before I did and sees I bought a jersey.  This happened last night.  Why the (bleep) are you opening my mail.  Leave my sh(bleep) alone.

A new one.  Satin hits.  You get this.

I don’t use this one enough.  An internet classic.
