Well, it’s a month from 9/11. The Mets will be home against the Nationals, hopefully battling for second place. What are they going to do this year?
I’d like to see the Mets take the field in caps from the NYPD, NYFD, Port Authority, EMS and other agencies that did so much, at such personal cost, to help heal a wounded city 12 years ago.

Don’t waste your breath. This orginization is soooo “Politically Correct” it’s sicking. No way Fred & Jeff will EVER allow their players to go against MLB. My idea is that the fans “SHOW THEM UP” by wearing those caps when they attend that game.
Everyone is going to whine and moan about wearing the caps.
The players will be threatened with huge fines if they do.
The Captain will wear the cap, but some executive will grab it.
We’ve seen this before.
MLB worries more about the caps than steroids
