I haven’t got second source on this but one source said that he heard they are not wearing black oN Sunday for Piazza.
So that’s a lot of telephone but it got me thinking about it and I already sat on this for a few days.
In 2012 the black was an official alt. it is not in 2013.
If they wear black it would be as a throwback, and clearly we have seen the Mets wear throwbacks such as the swoosh jersey earlier this year.
However, I think any throwback games with the Mets in recent years have been on the road.
So maybe perhaps they aren’t wearing black after all? Or maybe they are?
