SNY Announces New York Mets 2014 Spring Training Broadcast Schedule

Network to Produce 14 Live Games Including Mets Spring Training Debut on Friday, February 28th at 1:10pm

 [New York, February 11, 2014] – The sights and sounds of live baseball return to SNY – the official television home of the New York Mets, New York Jets and all things New York sports – as the network today announced its complete slate of spring training coverage for the 2014 New York Mets.  SNY will produce 14 live spring training games, all in HD, and kick-off its coverage of the 2014 New York Mets onFriday, February 28that 1:10pm when the team hosts the Washington Nationals live from Port St. Lucie.   SNY’s spring training schedule also features matchups against fellow National League East rivals Atlanta Braves and Miami Marlins, in addition to games versus 2013 division winners Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals.  Citi will be the presenting sponsor of SNY’s spring training coverage.

SNY will give fans their very first look at live game action featuring the Mets’ new off-season acquisitions Curtis Granderson (three-time all-star), Bartolo Colon (three-time all-star, 2005 Cy Young) and Chris Young. They will join forces with The Captain, David Wright, as well as starting pitchers Jonathon Niese, Dillon Gee, Zack Wheeler and closer Bobby Parnell.  Exciting rookie Travis d’Arnaud will enter his first full season as the team’s primary catcher.

SNY’s Emmy Award-winning broadcast team featuring Ron Darling, Keith Hernandez, Gary Cohen and Kevin Burkhardt – widely recognized as the best broadcast team in all of baseball – will coverall the action during spring training.  SNY will also feature extensive coverage throughout spring training during its live shows, including Daily News Live at 5:00pm, Loud Mouths at 5:30pm, Covino & Rich at6:00pm and GEICO SportsNite from 10:30pm-1:30am.

  1. willmusto metspolice last few years all spring games were available on Mlb.tv but sometimes not on all devices right away.
