I mean really, Mets! You couldn’t think of anyone better to throw out the first pitch?! How about Ralph Kiner’s kids who will be there for the ceremony anyway? How about a soldier coming home? How about a politician that is actually a Mets fan? How about Shannon Forde? How about the CEO of Mister Softee? How about Matt Harvey? That would get the crowd juiced up!

    This is the first opening day since he was sworn in as mayor.
    Not to mention the poor pathetic MetsBro is just letting his political bias encroach on his baseball coverage of baseball.
