Here’s what we’re doing. We are crowdsourcing 41 ideas for the Mets. The ideas can be big or small. Email me your idea at [email protected]. Today’s idea comes from Stan.
Mets fans are some of the most passionate in the country; we’ve dealt with playoff runs, financial trouble, and heartbreaking injuries. It’s time for the Mets organization to create a supporters club, similar to those in Europe, for our fans and help us electrify Citi Field. The club should entail a special seating section, similar to what the 7Line does for some games, chants banners and songs, and a fan representitive to have one voting seat on the Mets board. Let’s go Mets!
Mediagoon metspolice how would it be different from what the 7 line already does?
.jglub780 Mediagoon i have to run out. but for starters is T7L in regular meetings with the club? its crowdsourcing – work the idea
metspolice jglub780 The7Line has fans that already are part of the The7LineArmy that are know as the citifieldsheas with the chants etc
metspolice jglub780 and The7Line events gain new people every event.
metspolice Mediagoon sounds like fun, never heard of the citifieldsheas….have to check it out.
@jglub780 metspolice Mediagoon The Citi Field Sheas are a few people, though and they don’t attend every game. The idea given in this, is a much bigger one that combines what the 7 Line already does, but with more organization (songs, chants, etc) and more consistency. Personally, I don’t know if it’d work on a regular basis. Baseball games here are too long and slow paced, compared to soccer. Then again, it seems to work on a certain level in Japan, so I guess it’d go either way.
I think I’d leave this one alone. It’s happening organically (as it should be) with the 7 Line already.
