What Mets fans talk about when not talking about the actual games.
Two thoughts:
1. The Coupons could have made a lot more money with a dome by hosting winter-time events such as a bowl game, concerts, and conventions. It’s odd that the Yanks have taken the lead in maximizing their stadium revenue thru other events, the Mets need the money way more.
2. Notice how the facade looks way nicer on this Citi Field rendering. A shame that they cheaped out by only making the rotunda look nice. All prefabricated brick and loading docks on the side. One of the worst looking exteriors in the league, I can’t think of another park that has billboards on the outside.
Even if they had built it, Metspolice would have just bitched about it anyway. That’s all that ever goes on this blog anymore. Non stop bitching.
