During the season we did a series of crowdsourcing Amazin’ Ideas for the Mets. It got such a big reaction that we went way over, and I decided to save a few ideas for the long off-season. And now here we are.
Ideas can be big or small. Today’s idea is from Craig who sent this way back in May, but I am a bad person and keeping my inbox clean and by the time I got to his I had filled the 41 slots. However, now it is the winter and we need cool topics so…
Hi Shannon….
Love what you’re doing. I was at AT&T park on Tuesday (back in the late spring – Shannon) and it’s magnificent and the whole experience is terrific. So a couple ideas:
– have everyone who works for the NYM – ticket takers, ushers, concessions say (and mean) things like ‘thanks for coming’, ‘have fun’, ‘thank you’
– in late innings of a game INVITE the fans to move down to field level. Don’t yell at them.
– respect the team history. Celebrate it . Put the WS trophies somewhere where people can take pics w it. At EVERY game and for every fan not just club seats.
– respect the fans. Mets fans are so loyal and long suffering. We should be treated w love and respect by Wilpon and SA. All we want is effort to win but that includes Fred and Jeff too. Do not take your fan base for granted!
Just a couple of quick thoughts. Keep it up!
Craig

I agree that the ushers and security need to “up” their politeness factor.
The World Series trophies are on veiw in the mets museum where all can see
