WHAT: The New York Mets and New York Cares are teaming up to host their annual Mets “Warm-Up” Holiday Coat Drive on Wednesday, December 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Mets Team Store at Citi Field. Fans bringing a new or gently used coat will receive a voucher redeemable for two tickets to a Mets home game in April 2015 (excluding Opening Day), as well as receive 15% off select regularly priced merchandise at the Mets Team Store at Citi Field, December 3 only. Participants can park in Lot G on 126th Street.

WHERE: Citi Field – Fans drop off their coat inside the Mets Team Store adjacent to the Jackie Robinson Rotunda and may park in Lot G off 126th Street between the Right Field Gate and Roosevelt Avenue.

I would suggest that in the future the Mets change the ticket promotion to something like “home game in April or a selected dates in May-September.” It’s not like they are gonna sell out every night (even in 1987 they didn’t) – and April sucks to go to a game. There aren’t even Saturday day games any more.
Anyway, the spirit of this post is to encourage you to support the coat drive.
