Hello Mets Player!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to put this into words so I am just going to jump in the pool and say: YOU’RE INVITED!
One of the things I never saw coming last year was that a few players heard about the QBC and were wondering why they weren’t asked.
This was the Adult Blogger version of finding out that you could have asked out the hot cheerleader in high school. Um…it never occurred to me that you’d say yes. I was seriously like – whoa THAT GUY wanted to come?
So if you’re a former player or a current player, you’re a Met and you’re family and we would LOVE to have you come by QBC15. Last year Art Shamsky dropped in on-the-fly and we thought that was the coolest thing ever.
Now we might not be able to get you all the green M&Ms you would ever want, but it doesn’t mean that (a) you even want M&Ms, (b) we shouldn’t talk and (c) you shouldn’t come. We’d love to have you.
