The Force told me to pop over to MLB Shop this morning, and when I did I saw the offensive Mets cap (the one that reinforces the stereotype of Irish as subhumans, read this for more on that) has been listed as closeout.
Meanwhile, on Lids this non-offensive cap is listed as “2015”
Hopefully the offensive cap is no more and can sit on a shelf somewhere with some of the Cleveland caps of yore.
If this is the cap to be worn this year good job by all parties involved, although I would like to see the offensive caps not sold at all and recycled as industrial rags.
