If the Mets win today they will be 10-3 which is awesome.
The Marlins would fall to 3-10 and be 7 games back. In my part of Queens we call that done.
Sure there will be 149 games left and there are 17 Wild Cards and the Marlins are free to kid themselves all summer, but their season will be over on April 19th.
Add to that their owner. It’s not like the Marlins don’t ever give up and start trading guys.
