First….THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS
So the Mets, whose biggest issue this season has been bench depth, are returning to a short bench with the six man rotation. COOL MAN.

THAT.
THAT THAT THAT THAT THAT.
Now while I have your attention….
Stop batting Granderson leadoff. It’s not like this is a run generating lineup that is working.
Get some major league depth in this organization. Why can the Marlins afford Ichiro for one year $2m but the Mets have a joke of a bench? You don’t need 11 starting pitchers Omar, nine is plenty.
Stop playing three guys out of position. We all love David but he isn’t coming back this weekend, next weekend, the weekend after that, the weekend after that one nor the weekend after that one. Play Murph at third, Tejada at SS and Flores at 2B. Why is this hard? WHY IS THIS HARD?
WHY IS THIS HARD?
That’s what she said. And she wants to know why they play three Mets out of position every single night.
Here’s what you do – hey guys, David is out so I am going to put out our strongest alignment out there. Since you are all adult men you should be able to stand twenty five feet from where you usually do without crying. Perhaps someday David will rejoin us and on that day we will revisit this plan.
metspolice I Agree with this opinion 100 percent. Granderson batting 1st is an absolute joke. He should be … http://tmi.me/1f58YM
usp99rx metspolice he should bat 6th in this lineup. #mets
usp99rx metspolice Granderson is third best hitter on team with remarkable ability to get on base. He has to bat leadoff.
usp99rx metspolice Batting Granderson 6th in the order is basically saying you want the Mets to score fewer runs. Is that what you want?
