I really like this @the7line cap, so relax.

I was thinking about how much I love this 7 Line Cap.

Now I’m a total 7 Line Army poser.  I don’t claim to be Captain 7 Line.  I only attend Army events in Chicago and hell I didn’t even buy this cap (thanks @mediagoon for the gift).

However, I love it.  Here’s why.

With the Mets doing well, I am seeing an awful lot of ratty hybrid Mets caps that look like they haven’t been worn since maybe late in 2008 at best and probably not since 2006.

So when I wear this cap I feel like it’s another level of “in the know.”  And that’s why I like it.  So I might not be in the Army, but I’ll wave at their parade. And I will smugly feel superior to the dude who found his hybrid in the back of the closet after sitting out Mets games from Game 2 of 2009 until July 19th 2015.

It’s also a nice cap and doesn’t have a ridiculous high crown like so many of the new crap caps that have come out here in the 2010’s.

Now some of you are about to flame the comments/twitter with blah blah I can be a fan without buying a t-shirt or some other Darren based jealousy (have you even met the guy?)…I’m not telling you to buy a cap.  I’m telling you why I like this cap, and I really like it.

I’m hoping to have Darren on the Mookiee podcast soon so I can tell him how much I like it.
