I am sure you are noticing more and more Mets attire in the wild. What I am noticing is what type of Mets attire and it seems like some of our brethren have been hibernating for 8-10 years and are now back. Back in black.
I mentioned on the podcast that I saw a nice fellow in his black Santana tee. I wonder where that has been.
This morning I heard an interview with Ed Burns who joked (?) that this was the first year in a long time where he could watch the Mets after July 4th. Well actually Ed you can watch the Mets after July 4th in every season if you want.
I’ve seen all kinds of ratty looking black Mets caps (with faded blue NYs) that look like they haven’t seen the sun since Rickey Henderson played.
