Or maybe the Piazza 9/11 jersey could live in the Mets museum

Original Story: Mike Piazza jersey worn after 9/11 attacks up for auction | am New York

I got a letter from the International Blogging Council alerting me I have the only Mets related blog that did not post about this jersey so I shall.

Here’s my question. For 15 years I’ve been told what a tremendous moment this was for the city and for New York and how it healed the world or something.

So, why is it being auctioned off. Is the proper place for this jersey that it lives in a frame in some dude’s apartment in Woodside?

If this is a Super Famous Historic Jersey shouldn’t it live in the Mets museum?

Or does the present owner really need $5000 or whatever Super Famous Jerseys go for?
