An interesting list which includes Noah Syndergaard (10), Jacob deGrom (13) and David Wright (17).
Halfway through his 20th and final season, Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz’s jersey returns to the top spot as the most popular to date.

I find the list interesting. Thor makes sense since his 34 has been the default jersey on MLB Shop, and they’ve been making 34s in the various money grabs Salute The Troops and Stop Cancer jerseys.
Jacob is interesting. Popular player, not having an awesome year.
David Wright? Barely played. Doesn’t everyone already own a Wright jersey? So that’s interesting.
Also interesting is the absence of The Dark Knight. Isn’t he a popular player? I could argue he’s having a poor season and/or is out or that everyone already owns a jersey – but then explain JDG and Wright?
Any why no Cespedes? That one I cannot explain. Seems like an extremely popular player whose jersey most people do not have.
Anyway, there’s your list.
