Hey don’t get me wrong, I’m down for some Mets playoff action and all (reminder, Mets playoff action might be three hours long if Thor doesn’t rock the house), but if the Mets are the fourth best product in the NL, then the quality of baseball has gone way down.
Look at what the Mets roll out there every day. Scrappy in parts, retreads, luck, tape, glue, and not at all pretty. If this boring winning baseball is what we’re subject to, can you imagine how awful the product is in other markets.
Looking head, OMG the Mets are really going to wind up with Colon, Gazelle Man and Lugo in the first three games of the NLDS. Now you’re wondering about Matz – come on, you know how things roll in Queens, do you really think Matz is coming back?
